TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I haven been teaching since 2004. After spending 17 years in the same school, I started over with a new district. I an advocate for life-long learning and love to try and share new ideas!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style could be described as structured with high expectations, yet wrapped in humor and love. I try to bring fun, silliness, and excitement to the students' day to day learning. We dance, listen to music, and talk a lot! Structure and explicit directions help keep this environment on task and orderly. We work hard and treat each other with respect. We celebrate each other!

I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in 2004 and Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2009.

I live in Omaha, NE where I was born and raised. I live with my husband, our 2 boys, and our 2 dogs. In my free time I love to create original and custom art and run a small Etsy shop @LisaOlsenArt. Some of my work is already featured in my TpT store and I am excited to add more soon!
