TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am certified in Special Education and General Education from Pre-K through grade 5. I have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Alabama, and I am currently working on my Specialist. I also have endorsements in Reading, ESOL, and Gifted education. This is my tenth year teaching. I have taught Special Education, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and I am currently teaching 5th grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students learn best through experience. We have a very movement oriented and discovery based classroom. I encourage my students to engage in discussion and hands-on learning.
