TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello! My name is Madison and I am a preschool teacher! My goal in making this page was to help you find child-led resources for your classroom! I am currently a lead teacher in an early childhood center. At the center I have: -Created creative lesson plans weekly based on children's interests through the High Scope curriculum. -Utilized the Online Child Observation Record (COR) for on-going assessment and progress monitoring. -Encouraged the student's creativity through an environment that was rich in opportunities to create and discover. -Fostered a community that was welcoming, safe, and allowed children to be heard and respected. -Navigated safety guidelines and procedures throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom is a mix of The Reggio Emilia Approach and the Highscope curriculum! I am passionate about allowing the students to lead their exploration and learning in the classroom. I believe in a student-centered self-guided curriculum so these resources are a reflection of that!
