5 years experience teaching 6th grade 8 years planning after school programs with academic enrichment and health focus 13+ years working at schools in areas similar to the community I grew up in: low income areas with high at risk students and 90% + of the students being ELL.
I love teaching and learning from my kids. I am willing to do anything to make learning more engaging and achievable for my students including singing (I can't sing), dancing (even though I have no rhythm) and occasional making a fool of myself. At the end of the year I want my kids to know I love them, support them and believe in them. Teaching insipired by: Rick Morris Ron Clark Teaching and so Fourth
