Bilingual Spanish Teacher

I have taught high school Spanish for 25 years. I have also taught Spanish at Bethel College in Indiana, and teach two dual credit college Spanish classes, one through Ivy Tech College and the other through Indiana University at Bloomington. I also created a pre-school spanish class for fun and taught the children in my neighborhood the basics of Spanish.

My focus is a hands-on approach where students interact with the Spanish language through speaking, reading, writing and listening - all while learning about different Spanish speaking cultures.

I was chosen to in-service the teachers in my school, have been selected as Most Influential Teacher by several of my students, and was selected to teach two dual credit college courses.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, Mathematics, and Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Masters degree in Education all from Indiana University.

I love the Spanish language and have traveled to both Mexico and Spain. I hope to visit Costa Rica someday soon!
