With over 11 years of experience as an educator, I've had the privilege of teaching Spanish from kindergarten to 12th grade, a college-level Spanish course, and an adult Spanish class. Additionally, I've taught Health and Physical Education, promoting well-being among my students. My diverse teaching journey has also led me to work as a school counselor, where I've provided essential support and guidance to students navigating life's challenges. This multifaceted career in education has been a deeply rewarding and enriching experience, allowing me to make a positive impact on students of all ages.

My teaching style is all about infusing fun and vibrancy into the learning experience. I believe in making every lesson engaging and relevant by drawing upon my own personal experiences. Recently, I made a big, heartfelt decision to step back from my role as a school counselor and teacher, and dive headfirst into the adventure of family life. Now, spending more time with my husband and our adorable toddler is a daily dose of joy that I wouldn't trade for anything. But wait, there's more to my story! I've also dabbled in a bit of storytelling magic. I recently self-published an exciting Spanish language learning children's book titled "Adventures with Profe." It's a fun blend of my teaching escapades and globe-trotting adventures, and it introduces young minds to real-life situations and places, including some from my time living in Ecuador.
