TEACHING EXPERIENCE

With seven years of experience teaching high school English and AP classes (AP Lang and AP Capstone Seminar), I'm exploring the world of educational innovation. Please join me for this new adventure as I share some of it with you through the store and stories on my blog A Teacher Travels.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm more a facilitator, guide, mentor than a teacher. The AP Capstone Seminar class helped me to become more hands-off and let the students explore and learn by helping each other. I taught them to be more self-sufficient and independent, but I was always available for academic and personal guidance and information.
