A Simple Classroom

I'll be beginning my 6th year in 2022-2023 school year. I spent 4 years teaching 2nd grade and will be returning for my 2nd year in 4th grade. My passion for creating resources stemmed from being thrown into a virtual platform in 2020. I wanted to deliver the same teaching aspect as if I were in the classroom, so I began to create Google Slides to help my students visualize manipulatives that I would otherwise be using in the classroom. As I entered the 2020-2021 school year, I realized there was a need in my toolbox for virtual materials that could be used for in person and virtual students.

I like to create things that are simple, creative and appealing to the eye. I want things to be easy for students to understand and read, and not a lot of "stuff" to clutter the page. I'm very much distracted by "things" and want to deliver and create materials that are sensible and useful for students, hence why my store is called "simple". I also love to create materials that kids love, and that are easy for them to complete independently, with a partner or whole group! I hope you enjoy!
