TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies. I then went on to receive my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2008, also from the University of New Hampshire. I absolutely loved every minute of my time in college, and had a BLAST learning about education and teaching. My all time favorite course was my year-long internship in a 4th grade classroom. Since college, I have been teaching in a wonderful school district that has pushed me to further grow and develop. I spent my first two years teaching 4th grade, and the past 3 years teaching 3rd grade. I have fallen in love with all my kiddos over the past 5 years and I am truly blessed to have worked with them. I have experience with the following types of curriculum, programs, philosophies, and assessments: -Common Core -RTI -Guided Reading -Harcourt Brace Trophies -Six Traits Writing -Picturing Writing -Lindamood - Bell -Everyday Mathematics -Math In Focus -enVisionMATH -Responsive Classroom -DRAs -Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark System -AimsWeb -NWEA -NECAP
