Volcanoes STEM Activities Challenges STEAM Science Project Based Learning
Description
In this STEM/STEAM volcano activities packet, you will receive printable worksheets and graphic organizers to help guide your students in using science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics while learning about volcanoes.
NOTE: Students will need to research volcanoes with classroom or or online resources.
The STEAM pages are open ended for a project-based learning approach, so students may choose Hawaii. Students will decide on their own a specific volcano project, objective and process. They will demonstrate inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking.
The pages serve as graphic organizers for focus questions, research, project ideas, project definition, STEAM integrations, project drawings and notes, results and summary. A student rubric is provided for self-evaluation. A teacher version of the rubric is also included.
