Description

7th - 12th grade ELA students will use the poem "The Rose That Grew From Concrete" by Tupac Shakur to analyze poetry, make meaning, and complete a short personal narrative inspired by the poem. Guided analysis, with the "Break It Down" sheet takes students through each line of the poem (making connections along the way) while making this resource simple yet engaging for students and teachers.
