Description

This is a 3-day mini unit in which students analyze excerpts from the journal of William Bradford, Of Plymouth Plantation. Students will: Read the text (included), engage with the vocabulary, collaborate to answer text-dependent questions, and complete a writing assessment from a choice board.

Note on Level of Rigor: High school is the target grade range for the standards in this unit. However, this unit may also be used for 8th grade classes if the teacher determines the students are proficient in rigorous literary analysis.
