No Prep Elementary Music Sub Plans: Independent Work Packets Grades K-5

Print-and-go sub plans for grades K-5 for when you need plans FAST. There are 3 independent work packets that can be done with just a pencil and crayons. Works with non-musical subs! I created these so that every grade level has something that will take 45 minutes and can be done in their homerooms if I didn't get a sub--an unfortunate reality these days!

I used to NEVER take days off because it was such a pain to write sub plans for 6 or 7 grade levels! Even when I did write plans, there was no guarantee I would get a sub, so students would stay in their homerooms for music. Their teachers told me they did NOT want to play games with the kids, they just wanted something easy to give them.

Even though these can be done independently, you could certainly allow students to work together! Also, you know your students best. You can absolutely change which grade levels get which packets if you think something isn't a good fit.
