What educators are saying

This was great and my kids loved it! We used it as a station for our review day and I'm planning on holding it for emergency sub plans!

Description

Roll and Connect is a fun and engaging game to use for students to practice math skills and have fun competing against each other at the same time! Students play in pairs and try to cover 5 squares in a row with a marker or chip of their color. This game works great as a math center or as a fun way to practice with your whole class. Your kids will love blocking each other and trying to be the first to get 5 in a row!

This set has two game boards each for the following skills:

•Basic division (division facts)

•One digit divisors (long division)

•Remainders

•Two digit divisors

To play the game, students take turns rolling two dice and dividing the numbers in the corresponding box. Players each use a different colored chip or a marker to cover the answer squares to the problems they roll. Since some numbers have a higher probability of being rolled, the answers to those problems are repeated more frequently on the game board. A recording sheet is also included for students to show their work.

Differentiation: Pair your students up by ability level. Start your students who need practice with basic division on a Division Fluency sheet. The One Digit Divisors sheets are good for practicing long division. When students master long division, move them onto the Remainders sheets. And your students who are ready for a challenge can move on to Two-Digit Divisors.

Included in this Product:

•8 Roll and Connect Game Boards

•Student Recording Sheet

•Teacher Instructions

•Answer Keys for each board
