Latin American Travel Quest Culminating Project - World Studies

This is a fun, customizable, and interactive culminating activity for a unit study on Latin America. In this activity, students will create two products that will show a mastery knowledge of the Latin American region.

The first project puts the student in the role of a travel agent. They must choose one of the Latin American countries they have studied and create a travel brochure for that country.

The second project gives the student the role of a tourist in that country and asks them to create a travel diary, imagining their trip through the country.

These two projects can be used together, or by themselves as your time allows. It is recommended, but not required, that students use the Internet as a supplementary resource. For both projects together, this will take about a week to two weeks of time to complete.

Materials needed: printouts of the included files and file folders, one for each student (not required, but suggested)
