    Description

You will download a bundle of 60 LCM and GCF task cards for your 5th and 6th grade students to practice and review the least common multiple and the greatest common factor using prime factorization. These LCM and GCF task cards align with Grade 5 and 6 Common Core math standards and will supplement your curriculum as an informal pre assessment, as an extra practice or review activity, or intervention work.

You may use the printable least common multiple and greatest common factor task cards in your 5th or 6th grade math centers or stations for fun practice or review games and activities, such as a scavenger hunt or SCOOT. They also work well for transition activities, as exit tickets, for morning work, homework, early finishers, test prep, emergency sub plans, and as quick formative assessments. Game ideas, a student response form, and answer key are included.

For your convenience, you will download both TPT digital EASEL and printable PDF resource formats.

Find the greatest common factor of two whole numbers less than or equal to 100 and the least common multiple of two whole numbers less than or equal to 12. Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1–100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor. For example, express 36 + 8 as 4 (9 + 2).
