The recent reopening of the case offers a chance for a thorough investigation and retribution. As teachers, it is our duty to educate our students about the historical significance of these events, use critical thinking to discuss the broader impact that it had and encourage them to take action to fight systemic racism and oppression.

My COURT CASE SUMMARY DEBATES are an excellent supplement to any class focusing on ethics, law, justice, argumentative writing, and debate, and they also work well as last-minute sub plans or stand-alone lessons. This CCSD is perfect for Black History Month, or studying the Black Lives Matter movement, or teaching about racism. Furthermore, this CCSD raises the question about closure and the law.
