Indigenous North America Project

Students create a Powerpoint or Google Slides presentation focusing on one Native American nation. Also includes a rubric for grading and a graphic organizer for taking notes on other groups' projects.

Questions Answered:

1. What is the name of your indigenous nation? Does it mean anything?
2. Where were their traditional lands (before European colonization)?
3. What was their traditional lifestyle?  How did they live before modern times?
4. What is one important event that happened in their history?  Explain it.
5. Where and how do they live today?
6. What were/are some important elements of their culture?  This could include religion, food, dance, clothing, language, housing, or any other element of culture.
