IB MYP 5 - Heredity - Mini Unit - Distance Learning

Are you scrambling for lesson plans and activities for distance learning?  Here is a mini unit on Heredity that will help you in your quest.  This unit has ten 45 min lessons that build up to two rigorous summative assessments that meet IB standards and NGSS standards.  This unit explores difficult questions surrounding heredity and genetic engineering, providing students with the background knowledge to rigorously analyze the concepts in our society.  There are many opportunities for discussion that will give students the opportunity to be engaged in a distance learning setting.  This unit is most appropriate for an MYP 4-5 classroom or 9-10th grade.
