This set includes 10 French texts with differentiated questions so that you can easily offer just the right challenge to your core French, FSL or French immersion students. With these no-prep activities, this is perfect for centers or substitute days, too!

Each text includes 3 different levels of questions, so you can easily use the same passage with different ability groups and grade levels. Who is this best for?

These questions are appropriate for beginning core French and FSL students as well as French immersion classes beginning to work on reading comprehension. Check the preview to assess the difficulty level and see if it meets your needs.

Use these differentiated French reading for beginners with your different proficiency levels.

Each passage includes:

• Short answer English questions and students can answer in English :  These questions will be the easiest for true beginners in core French or FSL.
• Short answer French questions : This has the same style of questions as the English, however, the questions are in French and students are directed to answer in French. These are best for your more-advanced learners or French immersion classes.
• Multiple choice questions in French : Occasionally, students will locate specific information in the text (such as adjectives or certain verb tenses). These are great for any level, as the questions are a bit different than the short answer versions.

You can choose all one version for a class, but I like to use different versions based on student levels so that differentiation is super-easy! You can always print 2 versions back-to-back and let students choose their own activity.
