This French curriculum bundle of resources for beginners is perfect for the American FSL or Canadian Core French classroom. With 10 full French units for beginners, this has everything you need for the entire year.

This bundle corresponds to the American course of French 1 or French 1 A/B. For Canadian core teachers, please look at the concepts included to see if this is a match for your teaching needs. You might find that the French 2 bundle is more what you need.

As this is a bundle for FRENCH BEGINNERS, you will see that many of the student notes pages have English on them. I plan to add a French-only version of some resources as time allows, but there is not a set timeline for this.

Here are the concepts broken into units:

Unit 1: French basics : French alphabet, greetings and goodbyes, dates, numbers 1-100, weather

Unit 2: School supplies, subjects & verbs + avoir (and negation)

Unit 3: Family, character adjectives, possessive adjectives, être

Unit 4: Sports, ER verbs, faire, question words

Unit 5: Adjectives : color, physical descriptions, nationalities, superlative/comparative (these are optional)

Unit 6: Places in town + aller & futur proche (venir can be added as well) + imperative

Unit 7: School classes, IR/RE verbs, time

Unit 8: Food and drinks + definite/partitive articles

Unit 9: Clothing + mettre

Unit 10: À la ferme

The bonus file lists each unit and all of the needed resources, so you can download one unit at a time and create a unit folder in your preferred storage location.
