Description

Looking for an easy, super fun, print and go way to review the end of the year standards?

This is a playful and fun way to get kids excited about reviewing lots of first grade standards.

This review game includes question all across different subject areas.

There are three sets of questions.

- One set that includes social studies, science, and social emotional questions

- One set that includes reading writing and spelling questions

- One set that includes math questions

- Also includes is a mixed review with a mix of questions from all the subject areas.

An indoor snowball fight gets kids up and moving, promotes teamwork and reviews many things learned in first grade.

Teachers, print the recording sheets and print and cut the question strips.

Allow students to each start with one strip and crumple them up into a “snowball” and in an open space in your classroom (I use my large carpet in my classroom) allow students to softly toss the balls around the area. They collect a question individually or with a partner they check the number on their question and match it to the spot on their recording sheet. They repeat this process again and again to answer all the questions.

Rowdy class? You can also put all the questions in a recycle bin mix them up and dump them out on the carpet for students to grab and answer instead. When a student answers a questions they can bring it back to the space and take another one.

This review includes...

- Three sets of questions

- One set of 20 questions with social studies, science, and social emotional questions

- One set of 20 questions with reading, writing, and spelling questions

- One set of 20 questions with math questions

- One set of 20 questions with mixed review that includes questions from all the above subjects.

- All review question set include a recording sheet to record answers

- Blank question sheet to change or write in your own questions.

- Directions for teachers

- Rules for students

- Cover pages for storing printed originals

This activity can be a stand alone review but it can also be part of a 10 day countdown to the end of the year activity. I included a link to one I created for my classroom.

This can also be used as a beginning of the year review from second grade too.
