Description
This 'Easter Bible Story Posters & Retelling Pictures' resource is ideal for integrating english language arts and religion. Students learn about the details of the salvation story from reading the posters and then develop their retelling skills by sequencing the 'cut & paste' pictures and placing them in order on the story mat.
There are 3 differentiated versions of the sequencing pictures to accommodate different skill sets and grades. The pictures come in a 4-part, 6-part, and 8-part retell of the major events of the story.
There are 19 story posters that come in both color/colour and black and white with text and clipart appropriate for younger students. Answer keys and teaching tips are also provided to save busy teachers time.
I recommend printing the posters on card stock and then laminating for durability. They can be used individually or bound with a coil binding machine. I have also printed on regular paper and put into a duo-tang with protective page sleeves.
I usually make 2 copies of the answer keys and use one for assessment and one where I cut out the pictures and laminate for use in centres or class discussions to practice retelling.
Please see the preview for more details. Note: This resource has been updated with the addition of the 19 posters and 3 assessment tools.
