Description

DIFFERENTIATED Article Set - Ramadan - Secondary ELA

(Max around 75 characters)

Designed so students can work on reading passages at their own comprehension level without making the difference in level obvious to others. Topic: religion, Islam, Muslim, cultures, diversity

The set includes one article written at 3 levels of text complexity, and 4 levels of comprehension and personal response questions so you can fully differentiate your lesson to meet your middle and high school students’ needs.

Each article contains the same key information and each question set includes the same exact question stems so that the content can be discussed in a whole group lesson. They are also great for working with small intervention groups. Perfect for RTI and special education.

Each article is formatted to be easily readable and fit on a single page

  • Provides enough text for meaningful small group practice, but is short enough to complete in one session or rotation
  • Makes it easier for students to refer back to the text and skim for answers
  • Less overwhelming for struggling readers

You will receive a PDF which contains:

  • 3 articles about Ramadan, at approximately 3rd, 6th, and 9th grade levels. Ideal for middle and high school instruction.
  • 4 levels of text-dependent questions, including multiple choice and open response.
  • 4 levels of personal-response questions, with variations in line spacing and amount to allow space for struggling writers or to encourage higher level students to write more.
  • Answer keys for all text-dependent question sets.
