What educators are saying

My students LOVED working together to make their Grinch posters. We did a competition between classes to see which group could make the best poster and they were so engaged and worked on it for the whole class time. Highly recommend for a fun activity around winter break!
I have an intervention group for math and these are a great way to get additional practice and decorate my door for a contest!

Description

This project is a fun twist on my usual coordinate plane graphs. This one includes 18 lists of coordinates & distinct graphs that fit together like a puzzle to create a poster size copy of one of our favorite Christmas characters. Such a fun way for students to practice graphing on the coordinate plane and collaborate during the holiday season! :)

This activity provides students with practice graphing in all four quadrants on the coordinate plane. Coordinates include integers only. It's great for "early finishers" or can be used as an extra credit assignment. Also works as a great motivator during the holiday season and keeps students working + learning!

The final product measures 22.5 inches x 45 inches!

You will receive:

  • blank coordinate plane (to distribute to each student)
  • 18 lists of coordinates (1 list per student)
  • colored answer key for each of the graphs
  • photo of the final product
