What educators are saying

Loved using this resource. My students only knew MLA style so this made it very easy for me to teach my students how to properly write using APA format.

Description

Overview of Resource: a quick, yet thorough, guide to APA formatting that provides direct and concise steps and provides models and resources

How to Use the Resource:

First Way:Present all, or part, of this as a direct instruction lesson to the whole group, or as a mini-lesson. This can be done by projecting it on a SmartBoard, Apple TV, or other projection device.
Second Way: Print and provide this as a resource for your students.

Variations/Modifications:

-Place this on your teacher website (for example, I use Google) so it is a resource all students can access from either school or home

-Print these in the size of note cards and create a task card station where students can learn, review, or practice these guidelines

-Keep this resource handy if you, are going back to school and need to complete those dreaded grad school papers

-Use as a method to compare to MLA standards

-Select certain sections and “blow them up” to create reference posters to place in your classroom
