Description

This is an Excel based document. The Kindergarten Assessment Tool is used to record student data while assessing. This tool allows teachers to view whole-class results at a glance per common core standard. It takes all of the assessment data and places it into a report card reporting sheet so teachers can enter scores by task into report cards (think of this tool as a no-frills excel program).

This tool also captures data by individual student,so teachers can have evidence to show parents during parent teacher conferences or to pass along to first grade (or future grades)teachers in a digital format

You need this tool! Buy it one time and done! No need to renew the license every year. It is totally editable and customizable. It has saved me countless hours in the classroom and has made me a better teacher. I use this tool to drive my instruction, because now I can see the results of my entire class at a glance!

Disclaimer: The common core standards used in this tool are some of the most common standards used in report card reporting. This tool does not include all of the kindergarten common core standards. This is a fully editable tool that you can customize to meet your individual needs.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
