This distills the new 6-point AP analytic rubric for AP Literature down into an easy one-page format. You can print out copies and staple them to student papers (or attach them digitally) to provide specific scoring feedback that is aligned. Essay Rubric

This is an essay rubric that I use for all of my AP Language and AP Literature students. The rubric includes ten points of assessment, including: Claim, Evidence, Analysis, Introduction, Body, Conclusion, Style, Citations, Grammar and Formatting. There is also room for comments at the bottom. This rubric really makes grading essays a lot faster and I find the 40-point scale to be exceptionally fair.
