This is a writing quiz I’ve used for years in several different subjects. It has a built in grading rubric so kids can see exactly what’s expected of them as they work. There is also teacher flexibility built into the rubric. You can give a score for each category between 0-18 or 0-10 points.Is the paragraph on topic? Does it make sense? Did you begin every sentence with a capital letter? Did you end every sentence with the correct end mark? Are you using your best handwriting?
