Book Tasting - Mental Health Focus
Mental health is a difficult topic to discuss, yet a necessary one for educators and students. Kindly open the conversation through this unique book tasting. The design is meant to be a metaphor for "happiness," how the daily ups and downs effect our happiness. The Odyssey Compare & Contrast - Invocation to the Muse & Kuan Yin Invocation
This is a creative way to introduce The Odyssey with "The Invocation to the Muse." Students will be asked to read both "The Invocation to the Muse" and a "Kuan Yin Invocation." Kuan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion (see other lessons on Kuan Yin).
