Nature Play Place Design Unit
This is a 7th grade Project Based Learning Unit. It students to work together to design and create a nature play place prototype which might be used by park or playground builders interested in adding a nature play place to their current setting. Students work both individually and in groups to master writing and using proportional relationship equasions in a real-life situation. Students also gain experience doing research, writing, editing, presenting, and engineering.
