This is a weeklong mini-unit based around a highly motivating Ted Talk en español, "Olor a Campeón" given by Gonzalo Vilariño. Students designed their footprints with the sort of information they would want people to know about them through their digital footprint - a lesson focused on the positive. A short one-lesson activity on the building of the Berlin Wall to introduce students to the concept of Cold War Crises and how they were resolved. Students are asked to view a YouTube clip (link is in the document) and write a one-page report on why the Berlin Wall was built.
