Estimation Matching Game
Students are presented with 16 cards, face-down on the screen. Eight cards are problems and eight are solutions. Students take turns turning over two cards (by clicking them), scoring a point if they find a matching pair. This resource is a useful and fun way to review estimation strategies.

Magic Multiplication Tunnel (with Negatives)
The students (or teacher) pull a multiplication equation (may include negative rational numbers) from the treasure chest. Students attempt to answer the problem, then drag the equation through the magic tunnel to determine if the multiplicand or multiplier they chose was correct. Guess Your Number Magic Trick Demonstration
This is an amazing trick with numbers. Students think of a 2-digit number, perform 2 simple calculations, and find a symbol that corresponds to their numbers on a chart. The teacher picks the correct symbol. The trick is repeated two more times, and each time the teacher picks the correct symbol. The last page uses algebra to explain how the trick works.
