Play this fun and exciting game with your students! In Pirates Ahoy, your students will take turns selecting cards from a "messy" pile. If they select a "pirate", the student must provide an antonym for the word on the bottom of the card. If they are able to give an antonym, they get to keep the card. If not, they must put the card back into the pile.

Using spring clipart and backgrounds, enjoy this quick and easy game featuring the /r,s,l/ sounds. On the Smartboard, the student will use one grid of 25 /r/, /s/, or /l/ sound pictures. The student will roll a dice to determine how many sounds they are able to "cover" based on their roll. As they cover the picture, the student must say the word to practice their /r,s,l/ sound. Morning Meeting Resources and Ideas
Morning meetings generally last fifteen to thirty minutes and offer an opportunity for children to practice social-emotional and academic skills. The structure usually has four components: greetings, sharing, group activity (games) and a morning message. Each component is included in this 45 page resource along with a section of "cheers" and "closings" that can be used throughout the day. Components are grouped and labeled for easy retrieval!

Love Monster Smart Board Speech Language Activities
Smart board activities to go along with the book "Love Monster" by Rachel Bright. Great story to use during the month of February. It is not a Valentine's book but it talks about finding love. Included are sequencing the story, describing the monster, comprehension questions, synonyms, definitions, and writing activity.
