Parts of Speech Review Game - Nouns, Verbs, & Adjectives - Trashketball Activity
Engage your students with a game of Parts of Speech (Nouns, Verbs & Adjectives) Trashketball. In this game, there are three rounds. In the first round, students identify nouns in the context of each sentence; the sentences increase in difficulty and complexity with the inclusion of multiple nouns and abstract nouns. The One and Only Bob: Idioms Chart Worksheet with Definition and Answer Key
Chart a course to creatively teach idioms through the use of a definition as well as sentences found in The One and Only Bob. Students will be asked to interpret idioms--all of which are listed in chronological order in the story, page by page. It's a great way to reinforce the narrative as well as teach style and figurative language. A detailed answer key is included.
