ReadyGEN 2016- 4th Grade- Informative News Report Writing Rubrics- Unit 3.B
I used the 3.B Informative News Report Writing Rubric from the ReadyGEN 2016 4th Grade curriculum and broke it down by column. Now I can assess students only on the areas that they have had thorough instruction and practice. As they do smaller writing pieces, those can be assessed on a smaller scale with these rubrics. Ultimately students will be assessed on all components of the rubric, but until they are ready for that, this works great! These rubrics include the components as follows:
