Ancient Number Systems Lesson
This is a great lesson to teach students about the history of mathematics. This lesson describes a few ancient number systems and has students practice writing numbers in various ways. (This will give your students a great appreciation for our number system!)This really helps students understand place value in a fun and engaging way.I recommend starting with a Ted Ed video that is linked in the resource to introduce the topic.
