If I Had a Million Dollars... A Cross-Curricular Unit
Students imagine what it would be like to suddenly have $1,000,000 to spend as they like. This project allows them to practice all stages of the writing process while writing a creative narrative story, practice math skills while creating a budget and practice speaking skills while presenting their project to the class.

Order Of Operations~ Mini-Lessons and Games For Understanding
Star Board is a series of activities that help children understand the order of operations in a fun, "hands-on" way.
Students roll dice and manipulate their numbers to equal answers that when rounded, "hit" the target numbers on their own player's board.
Students must use their critical thinking skills and record their rolls correctly, in order to successfully earn points.
The range of games and activities are easily adaptable to accommodate all learning styles and for differentiated instruction
