Construct a Robot (Statue)

Students use various materials to construct a robot statue. They may use any kind of materials available like cardboard, poster board, clay, etc. Students use their knowledge of 3D shapes and formulas to build, then calculate the volume and surface area of their robot. Also included in the steps is drawing nets for practice. Use this as a class project to delve into project-based learning or as an individual project for differentiation.
