Fun with Phonograms Word Families Smartboard
I created this phonogram smartboard file for Word Work in my first grade classroom. I use the Daily Five and this station was consistently the loudest. This new smartboard Word Work has helped a lot! The students really enjoy sliding and sorting the words. They have caught on fairly quick to the word families and have started applying these to their everyday reading.
I use this to help teach common word families. The word families on included are –ore, -ace, -ide, -ime, -ole, -one, -ile, -it
