We use it specifically from year 4 - year 6 to consolidate children’s knowledge of times tables and multiplcation.It is good to use when skip counting, or going through times tables with children. This multiplication book I made for the end of the year when we were leaning about multiplication and arrays. I had the kids draw (like an array), add, and multiply each equation. When I made the books I copied the cover on construction paper. Then I copied the set of equations and cut them in 2 and then staple on the left hand side the construction paper cover and back. This cuts down on copies. I try to copy all of the covers for the different multiples on different colored construction

This is a 5 page packet that includes a 100s chart. Each page other than the one with the 100s chart asks 6 questions about the 100s chart. The first asks what number is MORE than. The second asks what number is LESS than. The third has students filling in the boxes before and/or after in that same horizontal row. The booklet includes the facts 1-12 as well as a blank page for practicing any fact or fluency competition among students to see who can fill out the page on a particular fact the fastest. Next Dollar (Dollar Up) Task Cards Worksheets
I use this tool to teach students the Next Dollar or Dollar Up strategy. It is very functional for independent work. I have found laminating these cards and having the students use a vis a vis marker this a great tool for independent work throughout the day, or as a part of a math center. The students see the cost and circle the appropriate amount of money needed. You can then see what the student needs additional assistance with, and target those skills.
