These place value cards can be used on a bulletin board or white board. You can laminate them to keep them protected and hang them up! This listing also includes two place value charts that can be used with each student. You can have them write directly on it, or put a copy into a dry erase packet and use it that way.

These visuals can be manipulated to show both standard and expanded form of a number.  Students organize the cards horizontally or vertically to represent numbers in expanded notation.   They overlap cards and line up the arrows to form multi-digit numbers.  Notice the cards are color-coded to reinforce the concept of digit placement in a number.
