This product has 3 graphic organizers for 3 different methods of prime factorization. If one way doesn't make sense to your student, try another one! The colors of steps correspond with the colors of the boxes where numbers should be placed. I've also included the prime numbers that the student would use, the rules of divisibility, and a multiplication table.

Math Justification and Evaluation Template

I found this form very useful for adding a higher level of thinking for math. I had students solve a problem using two strategies. I had them justify their answers then gave the paper to another student to evaluate. I really saw students grow in just a few months and show learning! Our district has SLO's (student learning objectives) and I used this as evidence of growth with the district rubric.
