Shark Fin Soup: An Exercise in Creative-Problem Solving

In this creative problem-solving activity, students learn about shark finning and shark fin soup. They will brainstorm all of the problems associated with these and, after determining the biggest problem, brainstorm all the possible solutions. After narrowing the solution to the problem down to four options, students will generate criteria to determine what is the best solution to the problem. Students will then create a product to demonstrate how they will implement the solution.
