This graphic organizer lays out exactly how to organize evidence based paragraphs for students. It is a Google Document so it can be easily edited, modified, printed, or used digitally. I like giving students the option to fill it out on paper or complete it electronically. The Odyssey Essay Performance Task
This product includes an SBAC-style performance task for use with Homer's "The Odyssey." In the task, students are asked to write an argument essay about whether or not Odysseus is a hero. The product also includes a planning sheet for student use.
This can be used with both a kids version of The Odyssey (for lower grades) or with the "real" version of the text in high school. It works well for both history and English classes.
