The new Florida Core standards do not include trapezoids or kites in the quadrilaterals section. This jeopardy is therefore a good review for parallelograms. If you teach in a state that does not have the Common Core standards, then my Quadrilaterals Jeopardy is a better fit for you; it covers the trapezoid and kite. All of my "actions" in this flipchart work well, and allow the user to never need the pen tool. Enjoy! (and let others know about my store, please)

This is an ActivInspire flip chart focused on transformations. All of the transformations are presented in function notation, as per common core standards. There are mechanical questions (produce an ordered pair after a transformation), and there are "theory" questions (A figure is rotated. Point B and Point B' have the same coordinates. What do you know about Point B?). As with regular jeopardy, the questions increase in difficulty as the point values increase. All of the "actions" on the

This is an ActivInspire flip chart focused on reflections and translations. The opening page of the flip chart is a review of the key words for transformations, along with an example of each. (All of this is hidden with a white box over it.) There are two slides within the flip chart that go over the rules for reflections and rotations with geometric transformations. This product is intended for use as notes, or could be used as independent practice with higher level students.

This is a Promethean Board Game I created for Geometry after chapter 1. You can export it to SMART BOARD. It includes questions on points, lines, planes, angle relationships, etc... You could reuse this as a template for other games. I have also created an Algebra and PreAlgebra game. My students LOVE this game and asked for it after every chapter. However, I only let them play it twice a year because I don't want them to get "bored" with it.

This is probably one of my favorite flipcharts on how to introduce quadrilaterals to students of any age, young or older. It puts a "face and name" with each quadrilateral and has a running coversation amongst the different types of quadrilaterals. They are all introducing each other and telling us of their properties. This flipchart incorporates a link to a quadrilateral song (for younger kids) and a container activity at the end for students to show what they have learned. I think you will LOV

This flipchart is so much fun. It is an introduction to all the 4 sided figures in the quadrilateral family, the parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, square, and trapezoid. This flipchart is extremely animated with really fun pictures of the quadrilateral family members and all of their properties. At the end of the flipchart there is a containers activity where students can drag the word true or false into a box beside each sentence. Ex: A square is a rhombus. The student would drag the word true
