Aboriginal Dreamtime and Dot Art Project
This slide presentation explains Aboriginal Dreamtime stories and their connection to Aboriginal art. It contains lots of illustrations and links to videos of dreamtime stories. Also included are instructions and rubric for a project. In the project students write their own dreamtime story and then create dot art to go with it. A rubric is included for grading the projects. I have used this with my own class and they enjoyed it immensely.

This is a wonderful resource for any Social Studies classroom. It covers the Georgia standard SS6H4: Explain the impact of English colonization on current Aboriginal basic rights, health, literacy, and language. It can also be used in an art, sociology or English class. I created this station activity for my own social studies classroom.
