This Reader's Theater is for 3 students. It is based on a Goshute tale of how Coyote didn't listen to his brother. I use reader's theaters to encourage my students to practice fluency. It is a fun way to do something that they need. Most of my scripts are in black and white so they photo copy easily. Tezcatlipoca- Short Story (English)
In this activity, students will work with a matching activity that will preface academic vocabulary in the short reading. Students will be able to answer comprehension questions based on the Aztec mythological story of Tezcatlipoca, an Aztec god. Students with Indigenous backgrounds, and ANY background are able to connect to the short story.
