ACES Paragraph Breakdown Poster
This poster explains what a student should write for each component of an ACES (Answer, Cite, Explain, Summarize) paragraph. It includes sentence frames or examples for citations and explanations. I put this poster on bulletin boards at the front and back of my room, so students always have a reference if they need. Additionally, when students are writing an ACES paragraph, I often project this poster onto the board as a reminder.

Easy Essay Hints - 5 Basic Rules for a Good Essay
I use these 5 rules when teaching essay writing. This is a simple handout you can keep on a student's desk when they practice write.
