Writing in Math Polynomials Paper Directions, Graphic Organizer, Model Paper
Help your students become better mathematicians by asking them to write. Writing about the variety of topics that relate to polynomials will help them synthesize the content and hone their ability to communicate clearly. I assigned this task to 11th grade pre-calculus students as the summative assessment for the polynomials unit. I have included the graphic organizer and a model paper that I wrote. The rubric I used was the New Tech Network's Knowledge and Thinking Rubric.
